National missionaries are more effective in villages because they already know the language, adapt easily to the local culture, and can live comfortably in rural settings. Their simple lifestyle attracts poor villagers, making the presentation of the Gospel more effective.
We aim to train the best workers to reach the lost in India and provide dedicated pastors to teach new converts how to live for Christ. Our vision is to train 5,000 national workers as pastors, evangelists, and missionaries and plant 10 new congregations each year in Indian villages. Missionary Training Centers
Mobilizing the vision of 2 Timothy 2:2, our goal is to train faithful men and women to train others. We believe Indians will reach India for Christ. The Missionary Training Centers are transformative, designed for rural, undereducated nationals of India. These centers provide intense classroom study and field training. With a continuous enrollment of 120 students, new prospects are always waiting to join. Graduates partner with experienced pastors to plant new churches, combining classroom knowledge with hands-on ministry experience.
Child Development
Children are often neglected worldwide. International Gospel Mission has been working with underprivileged children through Mercy Child Development Centers, providing education, clothing, and nurturing care. Currently, we have three centers with 170 children enrolled. The centers offer a faith-based, loving environment, along with medical attention and health education. Through sponsorship, you can bring hope to these children by meeting their physical needs and introducing them to Jesus Christ.
Evangelism
Of India’s 1.23 billion population, 855 million live in rural areas. With 650,000 villages, only one-third have been reached with the Gospel. Our primary aim is to present Christ to unreached villages through Gospel meetings, Biblical videos, music, and personal visitations. We also distribute Bibles and tracts to deepen understanding. Despite persecution, many are accepting Christ and becoming His followers.
Church Planting
Our evangelists and Bible College graduates minister in remote villages, leading many to accept Jesus as their Savior. New believers begin Bible studies and worship services in homes, which eventually grow into congregations. We support pastors in planting healthy New Testament churches, enabling outreach to surrounding villages.
Church Building
The need for churches across India has inspired IGM’s Church Building Program. Donations enable the construction of local churches, bringing communities closer to Christ. To date, we’ve built 57 churches in remote villages. For $5,000, you can help a congregation build a church, leaving a lasting legacy for the Kingdom of God.
